Lesson 85
教学设计示例(一)

  一、教学内容

  1.词汇(略)。

  2.句型:1)Do you have an eraser?  2)I think the shop is closed at this time of day. 3)The shop closes early on Fridays.

  3.日常交际用语:

  1)一What day is it today?

     -It’s Friday.

  2)Let’s go to the supermarket.It’s open 24 hours.

  3)一Hello!Can I help you?-I’d like…

  4)May I borrow some from you?

  二、教具

  录音机;日历(或挂历);一张画有商店的图片;两张大卡片,一张写有OPEN,另一张写有CLOSED;几件学习用具。

  三、课堂教学设计

  1.值日生报告。

  2.教师就教室里人物、实物等与学生练习问答。主要复习  There + be句型及现在进行时

  3.教师拿出日历(或挂历),开始教学生本课单词(不一定从星期一开始)。先指向当天的日子,然后说:

  T:Today is…., tomorrow is…

  借助教师的手势及日历,学生能听懂,教师板书该词,学生反复跟读、练习拼写。当确信大家已初步掌握之后,教师再次拿起日历,自问自答:

  T:What day is it today?It’s…What day is it tomorrow?It’s…

  启发学生猜教师这些句子的意思。教师领读,然后与学生进行如下问答练习:

  T:What day is it today?

  Ss:It’s….

  T: How do you spell it?

  Ss:(拼写这个单词)。

  T:What day is it tomorrow?

  Ss:It’s…

  T: How do you spell it?

  Ss:(拼写这个单词)。

  对于其他单词,教师则可以问:

  T:What’s ×× ×in English?

  然后重复要求学生拼写句子。

  这种问答要在以后的教学中坚持下去,使学生通过不断重复的手段,达到记住、记牢的目的。

  4.教师拿出那一张商店的图片和两张写好单词的卡片,教本课第一部分单词。

  放课文第一部分录音,教师给出听前提问(Pre-listerning question)

  Is the shop open or closed?

  放一至两遍录音,学生回答问题。打开书,再放录音,学生跟读两至三遍。两人一组进行练习,数分钟后,请两组学生到前面表演。

  5.利用一些学习用具,由学生仿照课文第2部分进行问答练习。放录音一至两遍。学生在表演时,提示学生要伴有借物等真实动作,力求突出交际效果。

  6.指导学生用笔头形式做练习册习题。

  7.布置作业

  1)抄写生词;练习朗读本课对话;2)完成练习册习题。

  四、交际用语

  1)What day is it today?今天是星期几?

  这句话也可以说成;

  What day of the week is it today?

  应答时,一般用It’s…这个句型。例如:

  It’s Wednesday today.今天是星期三。

  如果询问明天是星期几,将today改为tomorrow即可。例如:

  What day is it tomorrow?明天星期几?

  It’s Thursday tomorrow.明天是星期四。

  2)to be open/ closed开(关)门(指商店)。

  open和closed在这里都是形容词。open表示开着的,在课文中指商店开门营业; closed

  表示关着的,指商店关门。例如:

  A:It’s Sunday today.Is the shop closed?今天是星期日,商店关门吗?

  B:I don’t think so. I think it’s open.Let’s go and see.不会吧。我想商店开门营业,咱

  们去看看。

  open还可用作及物动词。意为:打开。例如:

  Will yon please open the door for me?请你帮我打开门好吗?

教学设计示例(一)

一、教学内容

    1.单元复习。

    2.学习字母y及字母组合时,ev,ov的读音。

二、教具

    录音机;音标卡片;能够成为本课第6部分谜语谜底的图片(或实物)。

三、课堂教学设计

    1.值日生报告。

    2.参照85~87课教案,与学生进行本单元重点交际用语的练习。

    3.放本课第1、2两部分录音,学生观察字母y及字母组合aa,ee,co的读音。之后,做104页练习1、2两题。

    4.组织学生阅读本课第4部分。放课文录音,学生读两遍。请学生逐一回答104页的问题。教师予以讲评。

    5.学生两人一组,完成本课第 5部分Make an interview的活动。提示学生尽量使自己答案有新意,不与他人雷同。数分钟后,请几组学生表演。教师予以讲评。

    6.组织学生用英语猜谜。教师可请几位学生到前面来,讲明规则,采用抢答形式。如谁能猜中,则可以“领走”谜底的图片(或实物)。

  2. Play the tape for the students to listen and repeat. Explain the pronunciation of the letter “y” and the forming letters “ay, ey, oy”.

  Step 3 Word stress

   Play the tape for the students to listen and repeat. Use gestures to show the stress.

  Step 4 Stress and intonation

   Play the tape for Part Three. Show the intonation with a gesture. Play it again and get students to repeat, showing the intonation with gestures.

  Step 5 Read

  1. Teach the new words and phrases, e. g. model, maths, all, part, rest, have a rest, from… to…, work hard, etc.

  2. Have students skim the passage in Part Four for the main idea. Tell the students the way to find the main idea.

  3. Play the tape and have the students read along silently. Then read aloud.

  4. Read again and answer the questions in the Workbook exercise 3.

  Go over the checkpoint. Learn the verb have and the useful expressions carefully.

  Step 1 Revision

  Step 2 Presentation

  1. Teacher: My pen doesn’t work. I have to go to the shop to get a new one. What time does the shop close? Put a picture on the blackboard and help the students answer eight o’clock by pointing at the sign.

  2. Teach at this time of day, supermarket, and open 24 hours with the help of cards.

  3. Books closed. Write Where do they go to get an eraser? ( the supermarket) on the blackbird. Play the tape for Part One once or twice.

  4. Get the students to read the dialogue in pairs.

  Step 3 Read and act

  1. Teach borrow by asking a student. May I borrow your pen? Help the student answer Certainly, or OK. Say Thanks very much.

  2. Start an action chain.

   A: May I borrow your pencil?

   B: Certainly.

  3. Books closed. Write Why does the person have no money? (Her purse is at home. ) on the blackboard. Play the tape for Part Two once.

  3. 在展示情境二时,告诉学生If you need to buy sth.You should go to a shop or a supermarket.

 

  教shop和supermarket.并告诉学生The door of a shop in English-speaking countries usually has such a card to show that the shop is open OPEN or closed CLOSED for business.

      2.仿照上课教学步骤设计,与学生进行问答练习。

      T:What day is it today/tomorrow?

      Ss:It’s…today/tomorrow.

      T:How do you spell it?

      Ss:(拼写这个单词。)

      3.教师走到一个学生旁,说:Excuse me.Do you have an eraser?

 

      启发这个学生答出:Yes,I do.

      T:(做出要借用一下的姿态)Can I borrow it,please?

      启发这位同学应答。

      S:Certainly.Here you are.(做出相应动作。)

      T:Thank you.

      S:You’ re welcome.

      和另外一位学生再表演类似的对话,使全班看清全过程。反复领读对话中几个关键句子。

      再请一位英语较好的学生,告诉他按刚才的步骤,从老师手里借钢笔。在老师启发、帮

  助下,这位学生与老师引出以下对话:

      S:Excuse me.Do you have a pen?

      T:Yes,I do.

      S:Can I borrow it,please?

      T:Certainly.Here you are.

      S: Thank you.

  T: Not at all.(解释这个句子的意思。)But Please give it back soon.(再予以解释)。

      教师领读这两个新出现的句子,反复几遍。然后,老师手拿橡皮,走到另一位学生前,大声说:Hello!Here is your eraser.Thank you very much.

      启发这位学生说:Not at all.

      再启发刚才从教师这里借走钢笔的同学,用相似的方法还回。

      4.放课文第1部分录音。学生跟读两至三遍。两人一组,利用手中的学习用具进行问答。叫两组同学表演。在表演中,可利用教师手中准备好的字典进行更为真实的交际。

      5.指导学生技课文第2部分的要求,两人一组练习,并做练习册习题。

      6.布置作业

  1)抄写生词;2)练习朗读本课对话,划出表示借物、感谢及应答的用语;3)完成练习册习题。

  四、交际用语

      1.give it/them back…把它/它们送还……

      it和them是代词,指上文提到过的名词。例如:

      A:Can I borrow your ruler?我能借用你的尺子吗?

      B:Certainly.But please give it back soon.可以。不过请快点还给我。

  3. Revise borrow by saying the action chain.

  Step 2 Presentation

     Play a game. Find the ruler. Ask two students to leave the room. After they leave the room, have the class give a ruler to one student. The students in the room must not tell the two students where the ruler is. Say to the two students. Come in, please. Explain in Chinese. Ask the two students to try to find the ruler as quickly as possible by asking them. May I borrow a ruler, please? The students in class should try to make the two students go to as many people as possible by answering I’m sorry, I don’t have one, ask. . . I think he/ she has one.

  Step 3 Read and say

  1. Books closed. Write some questions on the blackboard. Does Jim have a dictionary? Who has one? Where does Li Lei borrow one from? Play the tape once or twice.

  2. Books open. Students listen and repeat, then practise in pairs. Point out the use of “give... back”.

  3. Practise Do you have any ( plural or uncountable noun)… ? Yes, I do. Teach and practise Sorry, I don’t have any. Ask Li Lei. I think he has some.

  4. Ask the students to prepare. Choose some groups or pairs to act out their dialogue in front of the class. Have the students give attention to the use of it/them and some/any.

  Step 4 Listen and answer

   Go over the questions in exercise one of the Workbook before playing the tape.

   The answers are: 1. C; 2. B; 3. C.

  Step 5 Practice

   Go over the phrases in the Workbook exercise 3 and make sure they understand them before the students make sentences. Make comments and corrections while they make sentences.

    录音机;两个电话机(玩具电话即可);日历或挂历。

三、课堂教学设计

    1.值日生报告。

    2.复习。重复上一课步骤3(参照上课教案)。教师先与某位同学练习问答。然后请两位同学在前面表演小对话(借助尺子、橡皮等学习用具)。

    再请一位学生到前面,让他(她)用正确的英语向老师借尺子用。

    S:Excuse me,do you have a ruler?

    T:Sorry,I don’t have one.Ask…(另一学生姓名)

    3.复习在上学期第5单元中学过的有关打电话用语。教师可提示学生:

    T:(用汉语)你听到电话铃响,拿起听筒,说什么?(引导学生说出)

  Ss:Hello!

    T:That’s right.(用汉语)如果你要向对方介绍你是谁,怎样介绍?(引导学生说出)

    Ss:This is ×××.

  T:Good.We’ll learn more about it.

    4.准备教第1部分录音,提醒学生注意新的有关打电话用语。反复练习:

  1) This is Jim. May I speak to Uncle John, please?

  2)Speaking.

      再放录音,学生跟读数遍。小组练习对话,数分钟后,请两组学生手持电话机,在班上表演(提示学生尽量不要对视)。教师予以讲评。

    5.利用手中日历或挂历,参照上课教案,继续练习有关星期几的问答练习。

    6.跟着录音机节奏。全班做本课第3部分Read and chant。可鼓励学生以小组为单位竞赛,看哪个组声音洪亮,吐字清楚,富有节奏感。

    7.组织学生做练习册习题。

    8.布置作业

        1)抄写本课生词;   2)练习朗读对话;   3)完成练习册习题。

四、交际用语

  l.Hello. This is Jim. May I speak to Uncle John, please. 你好!我是吉姆,我能和约翰叔叔通话吗?

  这是打电话常用口语。除了用May I speak to…之外,还可用Could/ Can来代替代May。使用Could,显得更客气一些。

    2.speaking.我就是。

    在电话交谈开始时,听到对方要找的正是你自己,则可以这样回答。

    3.How about Friday evenings?星期五晚上怎么样?

    在征询别人意见时,使用 how about,后面接名词或名词短语。再如:

    How about some tea?喝点茶怎么样?

  Step 1 Revision

  1. A duty report.

  2. Revise dialogues in Lesson 86, Part Two.

  3. Revise family relationships, e.g. aunt, uncle, grandma, etc.

 

  Step 2 Read and act

  1. Book closed. Write the question on the blackboard Why does Jim want Uncle John’s help?  (Something’s wrong with Jim’s computer.) Play the tape for Part One once or twice. Students listen and find the answer.

  2. Books open. Play the tape again and have students repeat.

  3. Have the students practice the dialogue in pairs. Choose several pairs to perform their dialogue for the class.

  Step 3 Read and Chant

  1. Help the students read the chant aloud together as a class. Pay attention to the rhythm, intonation and pronunciation.

  2. Divide the class into seven groups. Assign each group a day of the week. When you point to a group, they should say their chant together.

  3. If time permits, assign new parts for each group and say the chant again.

  Step 4 Ask and answer

  Make the students ask and answer in pairs, then write down the answers in the Workbook exercise3.

  Step 5 Writing

  Write down the following sentences in the notebook.

  (1) May I speak to Uncle John, please?

  (2) Can you give me a hand?

  (3) Could you come and help me mend it?
