Everyone has two arms: the right① arm and the left② arm. The right arm is usually ally③ stronger④, so we call it a good helper.
We all know an arm is not very long. But when you keep⑤ at arm’s length, the distance⑥ is too long. It means you don’t like this person and try to avoid⑦ him or her. We should keep the bad friends at arm’s length.
每个人都有两只手臂:左臂和右臂,而右臂通常较强壮,因此,我们常以“right arm”来称呼得力的助手。

(1)动词carry作“搬运”之意解时,常用作及物动词,后要求接宾语,应在其后加上代词it(指the bag)。
(2)full of(意为“充满……的”)是形容词短语,不能单独充当谓语,应在其前加上连系动词is。
(3)本句是一个特殊疑问句,在主语I前面应加上助动词。
