Step 1 Revision

1. Greeting

  见面时教师和学生打招呼,复习学过的问候语。

2. Revise times.

  创造情景,练习本课核心教学内容:Let me help you.

  Could you help me,please?结合本课CD片、录像带,让学生两人一组表演对话,也可以将文中的物品改为其他物品,练习对话。

  录音机、录音带、教学片(录像带)、一个大盒子、幻灯片。

Teaching procedures

Step 1 Revision

  1.Duty report.每天值日生报告出席人数、星期几。 

  2.Free talks.检查口头作业,65课课后练习3自编的对话。

  3.复习句型This ruler is long. That one is short.等。

Step 2 Presentation 

  向学生出示带到课堂上的盒子,可以就这个盒子向学生提几个问题:Is this box big or small? Is it heavy or light? Is it full or empty? 借助实物以及表情教heavy, light, fall , empty.教给学生This is a big box. It’s empty.形容词修饰单数名词时,形容词前有“a”.如果没有名词,形容词前不要加“a”,例如:It’s a big是错误的。

Step 3 Practice

让学生像这样练习对话(可以先找一个同学和你做)

  T: Could you help me, please?

  S: Certainly! Let me help you. What’s wrong?

  T: Could you close the door, please?

  S: OK.

  T: Thank you.

  S: You’re welcome.

Step 4 Presentation

  1.复习句型Could you help me, please?学生答Certainly!接着问 Could you open the door/window?

  2.教学Let me help you.这一句型。

Step 5 Read and say

1.看录像带,注意人物的表情、动作。

2.放录音,让学生听并跟读。教师解释知识点(板书)

3.让学生两人一组练习,并模仿对话。

  让学生两人一组表演对话,将句中的书换成其他物品。

  放录音带以前,让学生通读练习册练习1中的问题。放两遍,让学生找出答案,和学生一起检查答案。

  观看本课录像带,然后让学生打开书,听录音并跟读。将全班分成三部分朗读课文l、2、3部分。

Step 2 Spelling and pronunciation

  1.将书合上,先听并跟读,板书字母a,下面写下same, grade, table这几个单词,让学生大声朗读这些单词,告诉学生:These words all have the [ei] sound, 并且这些单词都是以下不发音的e结尾,用同样的步骤练习其他几组单词。

  2.将单词卡片打乱,让学生朗读这些单词。

  3.做练习册第一个练习,试着读出所有单词。

Step3 Word stress

  1.将书合上,告诉学生,英语单词有重音,它是英语单词的一部分。

  2.放录音,第一遍听,学生体会这些单词;第二遍,让同学眼读。

  3.将单词卡片打乱,出示给学生,让学生准确地读这些单词,并纠正不正确的发音,指出单词重音用“′”符号表示。

Step 4  Listen , read and talk4 minutes

  让同学两人一组先将每个词填写在图中适当的位置上,然后两人一组用英语描述这个娃娃。例如:It has a small mouthIt has two big eyesetc

  注意:foot的复数形式是feet.(板书)

  根据老师的口令,让学生模自己身体的各部位,看谁动作快又准确。

Step6 Read and act

  1.放本课录音带,听并跟读。

  2.解释句子be me help you find itLet me put it on.指出be后要加动词原形,如:

  Let him do it.

  Here it is. 在这儿。

  Here you are. 给你。

3.让学生两人一组练习对话,可换用其他物品,并叫几组同学表演。

Step7 Find and write

  指出“在儿童节”用“on Children’ Day”,表节日时首字母要大写。

  给学生几分钟时间,让他们两人一组编新的对话。必要时拿一项警察帽子表演。

  和学生过一遍复习要点17,找几个学生用形容词造句,并翻译短语。使学生务必掌握本单元所学的语言项目。
