Most of us have no access to playing a vitally important role in the world, but we can contribute to the world by doing small things with great love.

Six years ago, when the terrible earthquake struck Wenchuan, not being able to go there and offer my help personally, I felt so regretful that I couldn’t resist complaining to my parents. Listening to me with great attention, my father recommended me to do something within my power. Then I joined the city’s volunteers to help pack up the relief, which I felt boring initially. But then I realized without our seemingly unimportant efforts, things couldn’t work out so smoothly.
