教学建议

教学目标与要点

  1、运用所学语言,围绕音乐和诗歌这一题材,完成课本和练习册中规定的听、说、写的任务。

  2、掌握本单元的词汇,特别是一些短语的用法。

  3、深刻理解课文“Music” “World Music” “A perfect Day” 内容,让学生了解有关音乐和诗歌的一般常识,并完成有关课文内容的练习。熟读课文,并能复述课文。

  4. 通过对课文的学习, 希望学生从不同角度对音乐有新的理解, 学会欣赏音乐,培养学生审美情趣,提高他们的艺术鉴赏力。并能用英语介绍民间音乐、非洲音乐、地中海音乐、爵士乐等。

  5、学习、理解并背诵诗歌 “A perfect Day”,学会欣赏诗歌,培养学生的艺术水平和鉴赏力。

  6、通过对话的学习与操练. 能正确运用本单元的情景交际来谈论一些事情, 尤其是表示意愿和决定的日常用语。

  7、掌握“-ing” 形式作表语、定语和补语的用法,并做到在口、笔头表达中的正确运用。

教材内容分析

  单元围绕“Music”这一话题,辅之以对话和句型,重点讲述“-ing”的三种用法,即 “-ing”作定语、表语和补语。In some parts of the world nowadays, you often see musicians performing in the streets to passers-by. Our jog is playing all kinds of music. The music they are playing sounds so exciting. Do you think what the end of a perfect day can mean to a tried heart when the sun goes down with a flaming ray and the dear friends have to part? The people performing all play different instruments and three of them sing too.

  本单元同时复习了表达意愿和决定的交际用语。掌握句型: I’d prefer them not play too loudly at the beginning. It came from work songs sung by black people and had its roots in Africa. We’d rather have some fairly quite and peaceful music.

本单元的语法项目

  “-ing” 形式作表语、定语和宾语补语

  I. “-ing” 形式作定语:

  1。表示被修饰语的性能、用途等。例如:

  a swimming pool = a pool for swimming(游泳池)

  a sleeping car = a car for sleeping

  a teaching method (教学方法)

  a reading room (阅览室)

  2.表示主动,相当于一个定语从句,表示动作在进行。例如:

  The lady talking (talking)with him is a doctor.

  II. “-ing” 形式作表语

  “-ing” 形式作表语:形容词化了的“-ing” 形式可用very修饰;表示动作的“-ing” 形式作表语一般可和不定式互换,但“-ing” 形式泛指意义较强(而不定式结构作表语多指具体的一次性动作。)

  e.g. His speech is very exciting.

   The music they are playing sounds so exciting.

  Our jog is playing all kinds of music.

  My hobby is growing flowers.

  My favourite sport is playing tennis.

  What I thought most was going to China.

   Her job was looking after the baby.

  * 表语往往要求在结构形式上与主语一致,如果主语是动名词结构,表语往往也要用动名词结构;主语如果是不定式结构,则表语也要求用不定式结构。

  Laying down arms is giving up the revolutionary cause

  To lay arms is to give up the revolutionary cause.

  III. “-ing” 形式作宾语补语

  “-ing” 形式作宾语补语有两个特征:一是宾语与“-ing” 有主谓关系; 二是“-ing” 形式所表示的动作正在进行。例如:

  In some parts of the world nowadays, you often see musicians performing in the streets to passers-by.

  We heard them quarrelling about money after the concert; they looked very angry.

  I noticed you helping the performers with the ticket sales. That was kind of you.

  We watched the children diving into the water from the top diving board.
