One possible version：

Recently the new college entrance examination scheme has come out，which says in 2017, besides Chinese, maths and English, the candidates for entrance exam in Shanghai and Zhejiang province will choose any three subjects from liberal arts and science. What’s more, they will have two opportunities in the English examination.

I believe that it’s beneficial to senior high school students. Firstly, the new scheme will reduce students’ burden, develop their interests and cultivate their abilities. Therefore, students can spare more time to hobbies, relaxation, being with friends and so on. Secondly, it can contribute to developing new type of talents who are good at both liberal arts and science. In this way, they will have more opportunities in their future career. Finally, if one student, for some reason, doesn’t perform well in the first English exam, he or she will get a second chance. It’s fair for all of the students.

Personally, I am in favor of the new scheme and I am looking forward to it.
