Many people desire success, yet few of them have tried really hard to achieve their goal . Blaming their failure on lack of ability , they fail to realize that it is lack of efforts that leads to their undesirable situation.

What made me realize the above truth was my experience in the first year of high school . Top student as I was in junior middle school , the poor scores I got in the first two tests in high school made me realize that all my classmates were overachievers , who seemed to

be much more clever and capable than me . So stressed was I that I just gave up trying , getting distracted in class and pitying myself for not being a genius. Fortunately , the teacher in charge of our class came to my rescue , telling me that I should have more confidence in myself ,adapt to high school and put more efforts in my study .Inspired by what he said , I made a plan for my study and spared no efforts to carry it out . Tired as I was , I was glad to see my efforts off . Now , I work as diligently as before and I am referred to as an overachiever as well .
