短文改错

My nephew Mary is a Senior 3 student, who devoted herself to her lessons

every day. Last Saturday, as usual, she went to several class. In the evening, she

continued to study at home until deeply into the night. She was too sleepy and

tired that she couldn't work effectively. In Sunday morning, she was about to do

her lessons while her father came up and advised her to take a break. Soon they

came up a good idea. They decided to go cycling in the countryside. Mary

enjoyed herself, competing and chatting with her father, and felt relaxing in the

open air. On the Monday, Mary was energetic but active in class. She spent the whole

day in the country-side, and Mary said what she had done was worthwhile.

书面表达(满分25分):

One possible version:

Dear Tom,

I’m so glad to receive your email. I’m really sorry for this late reply.

Recently, I’ve been so busy with an important exam at the beginning of the new term that I failed to reply to your letter in time. As a senior III student, I had to devote most of my time to reviewing my lessons during the summer vacation. However, I still managed to spare some time to travel to several places of interest and read novels to refresh myself.

In the new term, I’ll work hard and try to make greater progress, hoping to be admitted to my dream university.

Best wishes.

Yours sincerely,

录 音 稿

(Text l)

W: Is Tom coming to class this afternoon?

M: He’s supposed to. But actually he won’t come to this class from the hospital until next week as the doctor has said.

(Text 2)

M: I’ve brought back your Oxford Companion to English Literature. I thought you might use it for

your paper. Sorry not to have returned it earlier.

W: I was wondering where that book was.

(Text 3)

W I was so angry when the cab driver tried to overcharge me that I called a policeman.

M:: That kind of thing seems to be happening quite frequently. I think you did the right thing.

(Text 4)

W: it’s $6 for me, and $ 8 for you.

M: Okay.

W: Let’s pay it at the counter.

M: How about the tip?

W: 15% would be about $2. I’ll leave a dollar and you leave another on the table.

(Text 5)

W: John, where can I buy a used computer?

M: Did you look on the bulletin boards around campus?

W: You know I never thought of that. I don’t know what I would do without your advice.

(Text 6)

W: Harry, have you been using my iPod again?

M: Alice! Don’t get so uptight.

W: And my new headphones, too? You creep!

M: Well, OK, I was going to put them back. Anyway, what’s the big deal?

W: The big deal is that it is so disrespectful to take things without asking.

M: Well, how about you? You’re always borrowing my sweaters, and jumpers, and stuff.

W: Yeah, well, that’s different.

M: I don’t think so.

(Text 7)

M: Hi, little sister. How’s your first week away at school?

W: Well, I have to say that dormitory living has some major negatives.

M: Like what?

W: It’s kind of disgusting to have to share a bathroom and showers with thirty other people. And some of my neighbors party on school nights. The other night, I had my first exam, and I was trying to get a good night’s sleep, but it was impossible, they were so noisy.

M: Yeah, that sure sounds like dorm life! That’s why I moved out my sophomore year.

W: I think I will, too.

(Text 8)

M: Hey, Jamie, you look stressed out. What’s wrong?

W: Oh, I have to decide my major this month, and I’m still undecided.

M: I thought you were majoring in theater. Didn’t you say you wanted to be the next Angelina Jolie?

W: Yeah, but I changed my mind last semester and started taking more psychology classes.

M: Well, why don’t you do that? You could be the next Sigmund Freud, the female version.

W: I would, but I don’t know. I’m taking a really great physics class this semester. I totally love it.

M: Then why not do physics?

W: So I could be the next Albert Einstein, right? I don’t know about that, either. I kinda want to take some French classes. Yeah, that sounds good! Maybe I should major in French. Although, if I take French, then I can’t really take the physics. And I mean, theater still is really fun.

(Text 9)

W: How many hours do you spend on the Internet every day?

M: I spend about l t0 3 0n a school day working and probably about half an hour just surfing. And on a weekend, I would spend about 2-10 hours working and about two hours surfing or so. I try to limit my time. I don’t want to get addicted to the Internet.

W: You do all the design work?

M: Yes, the design, the programming. My father handles the marketing. He markets the company very well actually. And if you go to any major search engine such as Yahoo or Google, and type in web designing company or Macromedia Flash, we will come in the top 10 with is marketing.

W: And do you know those marketing things?

M: He is teaching me. He is training me for that when I am older actually, so I don’t have to be dependent on anybody.

W: What would you do if people don’t treat you as a grown-up? If they don’t take you seriously, what would you do?

M: I simply let them go. You can’t do business with someone who doesn’t take you seriously.

(Text 10)

M: It is both an honor and a privilege to be able to introduce you to a man of distinction - Usain Bolt. Usain Bolt was born on 21st of August 1986. He has distinguished himself as a world-class sprinter and he holds the Olympic and World Records for the 100 meters in 9.69 seconds and the 200 meters in 19. 30 seconds. Usain has taken his level of excellence one step further - and together with his teammates— he also won the 4xl00 meters relay in the amazing time of 37. 10 seconds.

All of Usain’s achievements were set at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Usain became the first man to win all three events at a single Olympics since Carl Lewis in 1984 and the fist man in history to set world records in all three events at a single Olympics. His name and his achievements in sprinting have earned him the title of "Lightning Bolt". I am sure that you all know a great deal about his public sprinting life, but there is more to Usain than just running. He enjoys dancing and he is often described as a calm and relaxed character.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please join me in welcoming Usain Bolt to address you this morning with his words of wisdom.
