Winds through the olive trees
Softly did blow,
Round little Bethlehem
Long, long ago. 

Sheep on the hillside lay
Whiter than snow;
Shepherds were watching them,
Long, long ago. 

Then from the happy sky,
Angels bent low,
Singing their songs of joy,
Long, long ago. 

For in a manger bed,
Cradled we know,
Christ came to Bethlehem,

风儿轻轻地
吹过橄榄树丛，
吹过小小的伯利恒，
很久很久以前。 

山坡上躺着
比雪还白的羊群，
牧羊人在看管它们，
很久很久以前。 

天使们从幸福的天堂，
俯下身子，
欢快地歌唱，
很久很久以前。

我们知道，这是因为
耶稣降生到伯利恒，
以马槽当摇篮，
