　　误：He is one of the best student in our class.

　　正：He is one of the best students in our class.

　　析：“of+名词”这个结构常用来表示“-------之一。”这时，其中的名词只能用复数形式。故本例的student应用复数形式。

　　2．你可以用另外一种方法算出这道题。

　　误：You can work out this problem with another way.

　　正：You can work out this problem in another way.

　　析：表示“用--------办法”，英语时说成in----way.这时，其中的介词in是一个固定的介词，不可改用其它的介词。

　　3．他深信自己会成功。

　　误：He is sure of he will succeed.

　　正：He is sure (that) he will succeed.

　　析：be sure后接that从句，不与of 连用，如正句；但后接名词时须与of或about连用。例如：He is sure of success.他深信自己会成功。

　　4．他喜欢戏弄别人。

　　误：He likes to play jokes at others.

　　正：He likes to play jokes on others.

　　析：play a joke on sb.的意思是“戏弄别人”复数是play jokes on sb..注意不要将介词on 改为at.

　　5．他终于考试及格了。

　　误：He passed the exam at the end.

　　正：He passed the exam in the end.

　　析：at the end和in the end都可表示“最后”，但前者主要表示顺序，后者还可以表示经过努力后，终于达到了某个要求或实现了某个目标，常译为“终于”。
