In what way is Wang Lin’s situation

similar to that of other low-income families?

They all can only make ends meet

on their low income, and if someone in

their families becomes seriously ill,

the family is forced into poverty, and

has to ask for help from the government.

2. Why is medical insurance so important

to low-income families?

Because medical insurance can

provide easy access to hospitals and

clinics for low-income families.

It can also keep them out of poverty if a family member gets sick or has an accident.
