W: I am going to get some bread from the shop before it closes.

M: My watch says 7:00, so we have around 30 minutes left to get there.

M: Him? Is your cat a male?

W: Yes, but I thought cats would adopt kittens and raise them.

M: Here is the phone number for the local cat nursing program. They will be happy to raise the kittens for you.

Here is the local news. More than ten people were injured when fans rushed into the new Stadium yesterday where the Super Boys were giving a concert. When the gates were opened, a huge crowd of young people began to rush for the seat tickets. People were knocked over in the rush and crushed underfoot as the crowd pushed their way forward. The concert later went forward as planned with Super Boys knowing nothing about what had happened. A police spokesman said that they had decided to allow the concert to be held to avoid further trouble. Two concert organizers were blamed for not ensuring that all the tickets were sold beforehand. The leader of Super Boys said later that they were greatly shocked when they heard what had happened. They are now considering giving up the rest of the concerts on the New Zealand tour.

Anne was a Jewish girl who lived in the Netherlands during World War II.

She had to hide away with her family, so that they wouldn’t be caught by the German Nazis. During that time she made her diary her best friend, to which she could tell her deepest feelings and thoughts. Not having been able to be outdoors for so long, Anne was crazy about everything to do with nature. One evening, she stayed awake till midnight on purpose in order to enjoy the moon with the risk of being exposed. How she wished she could regain freedom and experience nature herself!

Unfortunately, they were caught by the Nazis eventually and Anne died in a concentration camp in 1945.
