Most people run red lights because they are in a hurry, when in fact they only save seconds. Worse still, red-light running is a dangerous and costly behavior, which may even cause a big disaster. So, for the good of every family, we pedestrians should keep in mind that everyone has the responsibility to observe the rules as well as persuade others to obey them. Moreover, I suggest increasing the yellow-light time so that pedestrians can have more time to cross the road. Making traffic lights more visible is also necessary.
