On the first day of college, our teacher asked us to get to know someone who we didn’t know.

I stood up to look around when a hand touched my shoulder. I turned around to find an old lady. She smiled at me and said, “Hello, my name is Rose. I’m eighty-seven years old.” I was surprised and asked, “Why are you in college?”
