Modern inventions have greatly changed our lives. Our class has had a heated discussion about it.

It is believed that the advantages are as follows. As is known to all, the Internet makes it more convenient for people to communicate and collect information. With the telephone, people can surf the Internet and contact each other more easily. Besides, since the car was invented, people have been using it traveling here and there. Additionally, TV, one of the most popular inventions, has greatly increased people’s knowledge and horizons.

Just as a popular saying goes, "every coin has two sides", modern inventions are no exception. People spend large quantities of time sending e-mails and playing computer games.
