As a result of the abundance of information online, more and more people are 43 the Internet to do research. Listed below is a brief guide to help this group of people use the Internet in the best way possible.

The first step lies in knowing what search services to choose. Search engines like Google give you direct links to all the web pages containing the key words you type in, which therefore are not 44 by subject. However, subject directory, a rather different type of search service, presents search results divided into specific subject categories, as someone has 45 through the links and selected all the 46 information.

With the proper search service at hand, the next step is to begin searching. One thing to take into consideration when searching is to avoid information that is too old. What is more, as a large amount of information has not been evaluated for 47 , it is necessary that you check the source of the information to 48 it.

The last step comes to using the information. While it is true that you can access information of all sorts 49 , a basic rule is to never copy others’ words as you found them. For this reason, you are supposed to always 50 where you got the data by attaching a list of the websites you got the information from.
