I, along with my classmates Li Ming and Li Wei, witnessed a traffic accident on our way home from school yesterday afternoon.

We saw a car knocked down an old man, was unexpectedly sped up and ran away, the old man lying on the ground, breathless and bleeding. At the moment, some passers-by suggested the old man be sent to hospital immediately, but I thought it was vital to give him first aid temporarily, so, without the slightest hesitation, I started his breathing using the mouth-to-mouth way, Li Ming dialed the First Aid Centre and Li Hua put his hands on some tissues and pressed them in place to stop the bleeding. A few minutes later, there came an ambulance, and out rushed the doctors and nurses. The old man was sent to the nearest hospital.
