What Is Bird Flu?

What is bird flu?It's a form of influenza believed to strike all birds.Though poultry(家禽) are believed to be especially prone to(倾向于)humans,no human-to-human transmission(传播) has been reported.

So far,only humans with direct contact with sick birds have caught the disease.But scientists are worried that bird flu could link with regular human influenza,mutate(变异),and become a deadly new virus and cause a pandemic(全国性流行病).
